Una cisterna a bagnarola nel settore C2 del quartiere occidentale di Nora

Nel 2019 le ricerche condotte dall’Università di Genova nell’area C2 del quartiere occidentale di Nora hanno permesso di individuare i resti di un vano ipogeo identificato come cisterna a bagnarola. La struttura, ancora coperta dalle stratificazioni più recenti, è stata, al momento, oggetto di una campagna di prospezione video-fotografica. Il presente lavoro ha pertanto l’obbiettivo di proporre in via preliminare i risultati di tali indagini, mettendoli a confronto con i contesti simili riconosciuti in questa parte della città.In 2019, research carried out by the University of Genoa in the area C2 of the Western sector at Nora have allowed to identify the remains of an underground room as a cistern called ‘a bagnarola’. At present, the structure, still covered by more recent stratigraphic layers, has been subject to a video-photographic exploration campaign. Therefore, the current work aims to offer in advance the results of such investigations, comparing them with the similar contexts recognized in this part of the city.
