Il rilievo 3D fotogrammetrico dell’edificio a est del foro

Nell’ultima decade, nell’ambito dell’archeologia da campo la fotogrammetria è stata sempre più utilizzata al fine di completare la documentazione grafica dello scavo. A tal proposito, l’edificio a est del foro di Nora rappresenta un interessante caso di studio in cui le informazioni 3D derivate dalla fotogrammetria sono state impiegate per arricchire e integrare la documentazione grafica dello scavo. Con questo scopo, durante la campagna di scavo del 2021 è stato acquisito un rilievo 3D dell’intero contesto al fine di: creare una copia digitale dello scavo; documentare l’elevato delle strutture preservate; acquisire un rilievo 3D del pozzo-cisterna (US 21138) posto al di sotto del piano pavimentale dell’ambiente IV; ottenere viste prospettiche e ortografiche sia del contesto che delle strutture dell’edificio.In the last decade, photogrammetry has been always more frequently employed in the field of archaeological research to complete the graphic documentation of the excavation. In this case, the building east of the forum of Nora represents an interesting case study in which the 3D information from photogrammetry was used to enrich and integrate the graphic documentation of the excavation. With this intent, in 2021, during the excavation a 3D survey of the whole context was acquired to: create a digital copy of the excavation; document the elevation of the preserved structures; acquire a 3D survey of the well (US 21138) located below the floor of room IV; obtain perspective and orthographic views of both the context and the structural remains.
