Il saggio PO, trincea II. La strada a est del foro. Campagna di scavo 2021 e studio dei contesti ceramici

La trincea II aperta a sud dell’edificio a est del foro ha messo in luce l’ampio tratto viario che, prendendo le mosse dal foro romano, serviva il settore orientale della penisola norense. Lo scavo stratigrafico ha consentito di distinguere la fitta successione di piani stradali in battuto, di cui si è tentato di definire un primo inquadramento cronologico sulla base dello studio tipologico dei materiali recuperati.Trench II was excavated to the south of the building located at the east of the Roman forum and it brought to light the wide road that, starting from the forum, reached the eastern district of Nora. The stratigraphic excavation highlighted a dense succession of street levels. A preliminary chronological definition of the road layers is provided based on typological study of the ceramic finds.
